Introducing the 2012-13 Yearbook Chief Editors
Two more student-athlete leaders have emerged on campus for the 2012-13 school year.
Senior Riley Plant and Sophomore Lauren Dunn have accepted appointments as Chief Editors of The Fighting Marmot yearbook.
Team yearbook is already hard at work organizing for the task ahead. Yearbook Chief Editors, Section Editors, and staffers have been meeting weekly to discuss the ladder and theme of this year's book - which will remain a mystery until books arrive on campus sometime in the spring of 2013.
San Francisco-based TreeRing Inc. publishes Sugar Bowl Academy's yearbook. The yearbook publishing company mitigates the paper used to print yearbooks by planting a tree for every book purchased.
Last year, the SBA community helped put 50 trees on the planet through their yearbook purchases.
This year, the yearbook staff is striving to accomplish more in the fall in an effort to ease the burden come winter race time. Parents of seniors have already received an email from Dunn and Section Editor Julia Puchkov, asking for your help in submitting photos for senior pages within the next week.

Mind, Body, Service to the Community
SBA's older boys' advisory ventured off campus to serve their community during advisory hour yesterday.
"Our students worked on a research project on Sea Animals with the second graders at Donner Trails Elementary School, and we helped some third graders with math problems," said advisor Corbin Prychun.
