Spirit Week's "American Day"

Spirit Week's "American Day"
SBA student/athletes put their love of country on full display during Spirit Week's "American Day" competition Friday.

Congratulations to the older girls' advisory, which was judged "most patriotic" by a panel of campus experts.

Spirit Week concludes Monday with the Fall Festival (bobbing for apples, pie throwing, balloon toss) and Halloween dinner at Village Hall.

Student Council is contributing funds raised from raffle ticket sales for the pie throwing to the American Cancer Society.

Blue Bird Days

It's a Blue Bird day every day now for SBA student/athletes, rain or shine.

Sugar Bowl Ski Resort's Blue Bird buses roll up to the Performance Training Center after each morning training session to transport students to classes at the new campus.

Shortly after 3 p.m., they roll out again from the new campus site to transport students back to the dorm and Performance Training Center for afternoon conditioning sessions.

Crazy Day

Riley Plant
It was "Crazy Day" on campus Wednesday, Day 4 of Spirit Week 2011.

As you can see at left, Riley Plant made a valiant effort to propel his advisory group to back-to-back victories after their win yesterday in the "Color Day" competition.

The win, though, went to the 11th and 12th grade girls' advisory.

No advisory group has had more than one win yet this week, making "American Day" loom large tomorrow.
