Nationals Await SBST Alpine Skiers

Sugar Bowl Ski Team will be well represented at Senior Nationals, beginning Thursday, March 31 in Winter Park, Colorado. 

The following profiles of alpine skiers training with SBST who will be competing at Senior Nationals was supplied by Head Men's Alpine Coach Guenther Birgmann.

Mark Engel: 
Mark has won fifteen FIS races this year, putting him in #1 position in the U.S.A. for the season and #20 in the all-time record book in the country.  Currently ranked eighth in the world rankings for juniors, Mark is a big contender to make U.S. "C" Team selection criteria.


Adam Barwood: 
Adam is a member of the New Zealand Ski Team, and is currently ranked the #1 junior in New Zealand for Slalom and GS. Adam has five FIS podiums, including two wins, and has been training with SBST for the past two seasons. Adam has had strong performances during the NorAm Series, and is representing SBST as well as his home country New Zealand in the U.S. Nationals.




Dylan Brooks
Dylan Brooks: 
Dylan has five FIS podiums under his belt and is currently ranked in the top 10 in the U.S.A. in his age class. Dylan has had an awesome season so far and has improved his ranking significantly during the season. Dylan performed consistently well during the Qualifier races in Park City, Utah, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and had an outstanding NorAm series in Aspen, Colorado.

Craig Marshall: 
Craig has three FIS podiums in his career and is currently ranked top 12 in the U.S.A. in his age class. Craig is training and racing with SBST, and accomplished U.S. National selection with a great performance during the Qualifier Races in Park City and Jackson Hole.
